VIctoria Niño

Victoria Niño is the author of “Our Hearts Match,” an advocate for women experiencing infertility, and the founder of Infertility Unfiltered. She shares her experiences of becoming a mother via donor eggs on her blog, Expecting Anything. She struggled with infertility before having her daughter and her son. Niño found her way to emotional healing through writing, speaking out, and finding a caring community.

Illustrators

Gal Weizman

Gal Weizman loves to illustrate animals and creatures, and to see her creations come to life as they experience all those often funny, at times touching, and occasionally awkward situations that inhabit the colorful world of fiction. Her illustrations are in games and TV shows, and children's books around the globe. She attended Bezalel Academy of Arts and loves all of her many illustrations.

 

David Keyes

David Keyes is a mathematician turned children’s book author. He is the author of “What If My Nana Was a Banana?” His only other published work, Fp-codes, theta functions, and the Hamming weight MacWilliams identity, makes no mention of bananas. He lives in Berkeley, CA with his wife and daughters.

Lauren Lowen is an illustrator living outside of Nashville, TN, with her husband, two kids, and dog. She graduated from The Rhode Island School of Design and has created artwork for a variety of projects including advertising, publishing, and products. When not illustrating, Lauren teaches illustration to college undergraduates, eats sushi, and dreams of future travel. She believes that everyone has the power to summon their inner Nana Banana! Christa Fletcher

Christa Fletcher grew up in Northern California and studied English and Rhetoric at UC Berkeley where she met her husband Daniel. They moved to New York City where she earned her Master’s in journalism from NYU. She now lives in Southern California where she writes K-8 English Language Arts curriculum for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, helps debut authors publish their books at EmpowerMint Press, and enjoys spending time with her daughters.

 

Jennifer Bouron

Jennifer Bouron is a French print designer who studied fashion and print design in the west of France. After three years designing in the kids fashion space, Jennifer developed her freelance business, and is known for her contemporary portraits, fashionable illustrations and striking color choices.
